Flood Design
Karna conducted a flood hazard assessment for a residential extension located within a floodplain and overland flow path. By validating council flood models against first-principles hydraulic calculations, we were successful in demonstrating that matching the existing floor level provided sufficient flood resilience, thus providing our clients with optimised and cost effective outcomes.
