Following internal flooding in the 2023 storm and a previously rejected subdivision consent, Karna was engaged to provide expert flood hazard advice for this project. By working closely with Auckland Council and Healthy Waters, our detailed flood assessment established a compliant design using suspended foundations and raised floor levels above the 100-year flood level. Our technical expertise satisfied Healthy Waters' requirements, resolving previous council objections and giving the developer full confidence to proceed with Resource Consent for this highly constrained project.
