The majority of the site is within a floodplain. Karna was engaged by a developer to provide preliminary flooding advice prior to acquisition of this property. Our expertise in our preliminary and detailed assessment gave the developer confidence in purchasing the site. RC is now approved, and we effectively demonstrated the floodplain does not exist within the site extents. This has enabled the development to have garages, lower floor levels and reduced the overall construction cost of the project.
