The site is traversed by an overland flow path and constrained by a 100-year floodplain. Karna was engaged to undertake a two-dimensional HEC-RAS hydraulic model to evaluate flood risks for the proposed residential development. Through detailed modeling, Karna demonstrated that overland flows are safely conveyed around the proposed building footprints into the road corridor, achieving compliance above the 100-year flood level.
